The US Security Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to rule on mandatory climate-related disclosures in October. Following recognized frameworks like TCFD and the GHG Protocol, Large Accelerated Filers will be required to report for FY 2023, followed by Accelerated and Non-Accelerated Filers for FY 2024, and Small Reporting Companies in FY 2025. American companies will be affected directly, but companies in their value chains can also expect to be impacted.
