GLJ and ERC Equipoise Limited (ERCE), based in London UK, have formed a technical alliance to build upon the strengths of the two firms and merge their combined backgrounds in conventional and unconventional developments.

Both firms are privately owned, independent specialists in reservoir evaluation. GLJ has a robust background in unconventional assets, dealing with shale gas, shale oil, CBM, oil sands including thermal projects, and tight reservoirs. GLJ also has decades of experience working with conventional assets within North and South America, Australia and other areas internationally.

ERCE is heavily involved in conventional reservoir characterization applying the latest technologies in rock physics, depth conversion, static and dynamic modeling to exploration and development opportunities in the North Sea, Europe, the Arctic, Africa, the Middle East, the Indian Sub-Continent and Southeast Asia. Both firms have strong commercial teams and provide reserves and resources auditing, economic modeling and advisory services to E&P companies, National Oil Companies, governments and financial institutions.

We combine ERCE’s regional subsurface knowledge of Europe, Africa and the Near and Far East with GLJ’s unconventional resource evaluation experience in North and South America. This integrated skill set enables us to fully evaluate any unconventional opportunity, taking into account reservoir, infrastructure and commercial subtleties, incorporating the recent advances in technology and operating practices originating out of North America.
